Diet

Whatever we eat is our "daily diet". This web site is not about how find a diet to lose weight, it is about understanding how all we eat effects our health and poor weight control is just one symptom of a poor diet.

Some of us follow good diets, some follow not so good diets. Many go "onto a diet" to lose weight as a short term measure because the diet is not sustainable - the food is dull, there is a lack of energy, always feeling hungry. That is because the diet is incorrect for good health.

The problem for all who care about the diet we follow is ensuring it is really the best diet for us. The information is so confusing, how do we know if the advice given is good, bad, proven, unproven, based on good science and natural to our species? Or is it simply driven by commercial needs to sell products?

The objective of this web site is to guide readers to the information available to enable all to make informed choices.

This section is still under construction and will attempt to explain the different "diets" publicised, including the so called "healthy diet" currently promoted by our governments, medical and health care professionals and corporations benefiting from this misinformation. We have had several decades of this advice and during that time we have witnessed an explosion of diseases such as cancer, obesity, type 2 diabetes, altzheimers and many more.
